Long before I became a travel advisor, my career was built on precision, preparation, and caring for people.

After earning my certification in Office Management, I began my aviation career with a regional airline before moving to a larger city to join a major commercial carrier. What followed was more than three decades in the airline industry, where every advancement required dedication, continuous learning, and the ability to perform under pressure.

As my career progressed, I was entrusted with increasingly specialized responsibilities. I became a Transport Canada-approved Cabin Safety Manager and Dangerous Goods Coordinator, supporting United Nations international relief missions. In these roles, I managed and trained flight attendants operating in high-risk regions while also delivering Dangerous Goods and survival training to pilots, maintenance engineers, and cabin crew. I was also invited to update in-flight documentation and conduct corporate cabin crew training for a private airline.

My commitment to professional development extended beyond aviation. I received business process and safety systems training through Excellence Canada, strengthening my skills in leadership, organization, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Every year throughout my flying career, I successfully completed rigorous recurrent training to maintain the qualifications required to continue flying.

Alongside my full-time airline career, I built a second profession in event planning. My journey began unexpectedly after hosting the Toronto Argonauts on a flight. Because seating in Business Class was limited, several players, including Michael "Pinball" Clemons and Calvin Tiggle, were seated in the Hospitality Cabin. Their willingness to assist our crew with beverage service created an unforgettable experience for passengers and led to an invitation to help organize a charity touch-football tournament for underprivileged youth. That opportunity sparked nearly three decades of event planning alongside my aviation career. 

From 1996 through 2022, I designed and coordinated small events: weddings, baby showers, milestone celebrations, destination events, and large outdoor functions requiring meticulous planning, logistics, catering, entertainment, décor, and vendor coordination. Every event reinforced the importance of organization, communication, adaptability, and thoughtful attention to detail.

My passion for travel planning continued to grow alongside these careers. While flying the mostly friendly skies, I joined Flight Centre before launching my own home-based travel business through Independent by Flight Centre, now Envoyage, part of the Flight Centre Travel Group. I successfully earned my TICO certification, while also completing specialized training to qualify to offer travel insurance through multiple providers.

Following my retirement from commercial aviation and event planning, I expanded my hospitality experience by joining a hotel management company specializing in serving clients holding a top-tier, VVIP membership card. My responsibilities included arranging luxury accommodations on a global level, at high-end hotels, coordinating chauffeured airport and destination transfers, and curating exceptional travel and lifestyle experiences tailored to each client's preferences.

Working with discerning travellers from around the world, I also arranged access to internationally recognized entertainment and exclusive experiences, including Fever's Candlelight Concerts, fine dining reservations, cultural attractions, and destination experiences that reflected each client's individual interests. This role further strengthened my understanding of luxury hospitality, personalized service, discretion, and the importance of anticipating needs before clients have to ask.

Looking back, my career has never been defined by a single profession. It has been shaped through aviation, leadership, training, event planning, luxury hospitality, and travel. Each chapter building upon the last. Every certification earned, every examination passed, every role accepted, and every challenge overcome has strengthened the expertise I now bring to my clients.

Today, I combine 32 years of aviation, hospitality, event planning, and travel experience to create seamless, thoughtfully planned journeys for business professionals, executives, groups, luxury travellers, honeymooners, families, and leisure travellers alike.

At my core, my greatest strength has always been being of service to others. I believe travel should be more than a booking. It should be an experience where clients feel understood, prepared, and confident, knowing someone knowledgeable is looking after every detail.

I don't simply arrange travel. My goal is to become your trusted travel partner and someone you can rely on before, during, and after every journey.
